It was two months ago that we brought you the first ever issue of The Set Magazine and we are working ourselves hard to the bone to make sure that our second issue will be even bigger and better! It is with great joy that we announce that talented South African vocalist Zano Urban will be on the cover of our second issue which is due to be published mid-July.
There is no doubt that Zano is one of the best vocalists in the country and his contribution to the South African house music scene and his growing international base cannot go unnoticed. We found it befitting that we bring you up, close and personal with this musical giant. Zano will be releasing his album titled ‘Colours of My Soul’ at the end of June. He has also just released the music video of his second single from the upcoming album ‘Oceans Apart,’ on which he featured South African songbird Thiwe. Talking about the album, he told The Set, “This album is a story, a book that I want everyone to read. It’s a journey that I want everybody to take with me. It is an expression I think will resonate with a lot of people.”
Zano has worked with the likes of Atjazz, Julian Gomes, Sir LSG, Ayanda Jiya and Mondli Ngcobo amongst others in the upcoming album. We hope you are as excited as we are for our second issue. Look forward to interviews from guys like Infinite Boys, DJ Mizz, Bob Eezy and more.
